Matthieu Baret joined Idinvest Partners in 2005 and operates in the digital sector. Matthieu led Idinvest Partners’s investments in OneAccess (designer of business class CPE routers), Erenis (FTTH operator, sold to SFR, largest French CLEC), Talend (Big data and data integration), Curse (massively multiplayer online game website), Zeturf (online sport and horse betting), Synthesio (social listening and reputation platform), Scality (cloud storage), Actility (IoT Lora platform) Enlighted (SmartBuilding – energy efficiency) and VestiaireCollective (market place for fashion clothing and items).
Before joining Idinvest Partners, Matthieu was VP for corporate development and strategic planning at Italtel, a Milan-based subsidiary of Cisco and Telecom Italia and a leading triple-play solutions provider for carriers. Previously he worked at Europatweb, the investment company founded by Bernard Arnault, and at Cap Gemini Telecom. Matthieu started his career at Bouygues Telecom, the 3rd French GSM operator that he joined at its very inception to contribute to launching the service and the network.
Matthieu holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Supelec and Georgia Tech (Atlanta, USA) and an MBA from INSEAD.
