Born and raised in Shanghai, Ken joined Gobi Partners in 2003 and was promoted to partner in 2007. Ken managed to help raised Gobi’s first RMB fund from Tianjin High Tech Group. On the investment side, he is covering areas like wireless applications, LBS technology services, mobile SNS and cloud infrastructures. Ken is also an active figure in the China start-up community. He is mentor/advisor for various entrepreneurs associations and acceleration programs, such as Microsoft BizSpark, ZGC Angel Investment Alliance, iHeima, Feimalv.
Ken has extensive experience in multiple industries including IT, financial services, real estate, and construction. Ken holds a B.S. in Management Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai and an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
